The Qualifi Level 3 Diploma in the Principles of Cricket Coaching (R66T Academy) is designed to equip aspiring and practising cricket coaches with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to coach players effectively across different ages and abilities.
The qualification focuses on both the “what” and “how” of coaching, developing the learner’s understanding of coaching principles, skill acquisition, and player development. Learners will explore technical, tactical, and psychological aspects of cricket coaching through practical and theory-based learning.
Delivered in partnership with the R66T Academy, this programme integrates innovative coaching tools, performance development strategies, and player-focused training methods. Successful learners will gain the expertise to support the growth of players at all levels and progress to higher coaching awards or professional roles within cricket.

This qualification is open to learners aged 16 years or over at the time of enrolment. However, learners must be aged 18 or above to complete the full Diploma.
There are no artificial barriers to entry, and applicants will be assessed individually through an interview process to ensure suitability for the programme.
Candidates are normally required to provide two references, with at least one being academic.
