Course Description

The Film Acting Course at Edexa Academy is designed to develop actors for the screen blending performance artistry with technical on-camera precision.
Through practical workshops, filmed exercises, and character-based scene work, learners gain the essential skills required to perform authentically and professionally in film and television.

This course draws upon the world-renowned Stanislavski, Adler, and Meisner techniques, exploring the emotional truth behind every character and scene.
You will learn to adapt from stage to screen, understand film direction, master self-taping, and gain the confidence to perform naturally in front of the camera.

Taught by experienced actors and filmmakers, this programme bridges the gap between acting performance and cinematic storytelling, ensuring learners understand both what the actor delivers and what the director expects.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills to approach any script with emotional honesty, physical awareness, and on-camera presence ready to take your first step into the world of professional filmmaking.
